Job Description
Biomedical Laboratory Equipment Repair Technician:

• Perform calibration, preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair of laboratory equipment including Beckman Coulter, Olympus AU series, Roche, Abbott, Hitachi and Siemens
brand chemistry analyzers.
• Perform Precision electronics repairs and work with integrated servo motors, air compressors, vacuum pumps, and operation of various hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform AC and DC electrical repair, 3-phase electric motors and transformers, AC-24-12V-5 DC, AC & DC drives, and power equipment operation.
• Ensure accurate and legible documentation of service events.
• Work independently on high-tech instruments in healthcare environments.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and company leadership.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Travel up to 70% of the time to different states for on-site equipment service.
• Report to the Las Vegas area supervisor and follow their direction.
• Work hours typically 8-5 on weekdays, with occasional evening adjustments. Some weekend work is required, approximately 3-4 weekends per year.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Travel 5 days days a week visiting clients to repair onsite equipment.
Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Electronics or other related major plus 1 year experience as a biomedical equipment repair technician working on Beckman Coulter/Olympus AU series Chemistry analyzers and DI water systems.

3 years of experience as a medical equipment repairer 1 year of which must be experience as a biomedical equipment repair technician working on Beckman Coulter/Olympus AU series Chemistry analyzers and DI water systems. is a minimum requirement
